The ACUSD/ACOE Community Newsletter is a weekly communication from the Amador County Unified School District and Amador County Office of Education. The purpose of this newsletter is to keep our families, staff, and community members informed about our district!

We Need Your Input - Last Day!

We invite all families, staff, and community members to participate in our Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) Survey to share their valuable insights and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our educational programs and services. The survey closes Friday, March 28, so please take some time to give your feedback!

CAC Meeting Next Tuesday

The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is holding its next meeting on Tuesday, April 1. The meeting is open to the public and available in person or via Zoom. See the agenda and more details on the CAC webpage.

News From the Community

Utility Bill Assistance and More!

Amador Tuolumne Community Action Agency (ATCAA) assists families needing shelter, warmth, financial assistance, and other basic needs.
They provide support for individuals of all ages and walks of life, including families, youth, and adults.
Please see the attached flyer (available in English and Spanish) for details about the programs currently offered and contact information for each program.

Community Mental Health Services Survey

Amador County Behavioral Health is seeking input on their Community Survey for the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Community Program Planning Process (CPPP)! The survey will be available to take online until March 31, 2025.

Substance Solutions for Amador Youth (SSAY)

SSAY is looking for high school students interested in joining their youth coalition! Members will be a part of a group of youth leaders working to reduce substance use in Amador County. Gift cards are available for first-meeting involvement!
If you know of a student who might be interested, please have them fill out the interest form on the website.

Kids Community Bulletin

 

School Board Updates

The next School Board meeting will take place on April 16, 2025, at the Amador County Administration Center located at 810 Court St. Jackson, CA 95642. Open Session begins at 6:30 p.m.

Pioneer Students Making a Difference! 🎉

Pioneer Elementary's Student Council is working hard to make a difference in their community! Today, the students worked with Amador Parks and Recreation to clean up Pioneer Park. They also did a canned food drive in December.
